1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Horizon Holidays platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Services Provided

Horizon Holidays provides an online platform for browsing, booking, and managing multi-day tours and travel itineraries. We act as a tour operator and booking agent for the tours listed on our platform.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Horizon Holidays.

3.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to secure your booking.

3.3 Full Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour departure date.

3.4 Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit/debit card (processed securely through Stripe) and bank transfer. All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only
  • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour price
  • 14–29 days before departure: 75% of total tour price
  • Less than 14 days before departure: 100% of total tour price (no refund)
  • 4.2 Cancellation by Horizon Holidays: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, force majeure, or safety concerns. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

    5. Travel Documents

    It is your responsibility to ensure that all travelers hold valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents. Horizon Holidays is not liable for any costs or losses arising from failure to obtain the necessary documentation.

    6. Travel Insurance

    We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal liability. Travel insurance is not included in the tour price unless explicitly stated.

    7. Health and Safety

    You must inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations that may affect your participation in the tour. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it poses a safety risk to you or other travelers.

    8. Liability

    Horizon Holidays acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from the acts or omissions of these third-party providers. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour.

    9. Intellectual Property

    All content on this platform, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Horizon Holidays Travel Sdn Bhd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    10. Privacy

    Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

    11. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

    12. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
